Proposed Under School Expansion

To respond to the evolving educational environment the School is seeking to introduce three new year groups — Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 — taking our age range from four to 13. To accommodate this expansion, we need to find additional premises, and a unique opportunity to convert Chapter House into part of our school has presented itself.

Chapter House is adjacent to our existing premises at Adrian House, Vincent Square, and will fit together seamlessly with the current life of the School, allowing us to expand within our current locale. Our proposal is to convert Chapter House from its current use as a commercial office building into a school. Unlike previous proposals for Chapter House introduced by other parties, our plans do not include any new storeys, meaning the outside of the building will remain unchanged. In developing our plans special consideration has been given to minimising any impacts to our neighbours including clear strategies in place for pick up, drop off, lunchtime and breaks.

We want to speak to our neighbours to discuss the emerging proposals before we submit a planning application to Westminster City Council later in the summer. To this end we will be holding two public events in July, details of which may be found below.
