There are many House tournaments that take place throughout the academic year. In the Play and Lent term, House Masters organise a series of year group tournaments in either Scrabble or Chess. Many boys enjoy pitting their wits against fellow members of the year and learning new words or moves for future matches.
There are further House tournaments on the Sporting field and in the Music hallways. In the Lent term the Swimming Gala is the main Sporting event. Each boy is given the opportunity to win points for his House and results are awaiting with baited breath. The Sports Gala in the Election term takes place at Battersea Park and the boys enjoy the experience of running on a specialised track. In the Music department the highlight of the year is the House Music Festival, which takes place over two days in the Election term. Once again each boy is given the opportunity to win points for his house and the most accomplished musicians from each year group perform for the school.
